COVID-19 Information

Due to the latest guidelines set out by the government it is with a heavy heart that Belle Beauty & Aesthetics will temporarily close its doors.

I pride myself on having a high standard of service, professionalism and hygiene.  Despite my best efforts to keep an even higher level of cleanliness, I can see that without these drastic actions put in place we as a country will not be rid of this infection quickly.

With this in mind it is important that we all do our bit to help stop the spead of COVID-19.  Please follow the recommened advice from the following websites regarding COVID-19:

www.nhs.uk

www.who.int

www.gov.uk

I appreciate all your support in these uncertain times ahead but rest assured that when we are given the green light to resume work I will be back with a smile on my face and itching to get my hands on you!!!!

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Ifection Prevention & Control Policy

For

Belle Beauty & Aesthetics

All of us have been affected by  the Cornavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

I have missed being able to offer you the treatment(s) that I know you love, and I am looking forward to seeing you all again as soon as possible.

My priority is to keep you as safe as possible, and prior to re-opening the salon I have implemented a number of changes which I would like to make you aware of.  During the time the salon has been shut, I have completed the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Infection Prevention & Control course which is accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists Ltd, the UK trade body for our industry.  I have since made a number of changes in the way that I operate that you will notice when you next visit.

Booking Appointments

If I feel ill or have symptoms of Covid-19, I will self-isolate immediately and not be working.  This may mean that I have to cancel your appointment at short notice.  I appreciate that this may be inconvenient but it is done entirely for your own safety.  If your appointment is cancelled you will be able to re-book again.

If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of Covid-19, PLEASE advise me as soon as possible and DO NOT COME TO THE SALON FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.  I have ammended the cancellation policy to allow for such instances and no cancellation charges will be made.

Visiting the Salon

For your safety and to maintain social distancing, I ask that you attend your appointmants as close to the appointment time as possible.  Please do not turn up early for your appointment as this may mean that you come into contact with other clients who are just leaving.

I have increased the frequency of cleaning in the salon including making sure that common surfaces, toilets, door handles etc are wiped clean using disinfectant between each client.

All tools that are non disposable will be cleaned and then medically steralised using an autoclave.

All equipment will be cleaned and wiped down after each client with disinfectant in accordance with manufactures guidelines.

Wherever possible I use environmentally friendly, single use items during a treatment that will be disposed of safely after use in order to protect you from cross-infection.

Upon arrival there is an elbow operated hand sanitising station with an alcohol gel (70%) to cleanse your hands before entering the treatment area.  Once inside there is a sink with soap and disposable towels for you to wash your hands in accordance with the NHS guidelines.

I will understand and not be offended if you wish to wear a facemask or wear disposable gloves when you visit the salon and during your treatment if appropriate.

Please do not be surprised if I am wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) during your visit and during your treatment.  This may include disposable approns, gloves, facemask etc.

All disposable items are placed in a Licenced PHS Contaminated Waste Bin at the end of each treatment.

My Treatments

I have carried out a risk assesment on all treatments and I am confident that we can continue to provide most of the treatments safely, however, I have decided that the follwing treatments cannot be provided until further notice:

  • Facials
  • Hair Removal where a mask cannot be worn

During Your Treatment

I understand the importance of hand hygiene and I will ensure that I wash my hands at the start and end of your treatments in accordance with the NHS recommendations.

I will try to make your treatments as safe and enjoyable as possible.  If you have any concerns about your treatment(s) please let me know and I will try to do what I can to satisfy you.

After The Treatment

In order to avoid handling of cash, I would prefer if you could pay for your treatments by one of the following ways:

  • Bank Transfer - details will be given to you.
  • Payment Link via Mobile
  • Card Payments
  • Contactless Payments

All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and mine.  I will continue to take advice form the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend this policy as necessary.

Thank you for your continued suppot and understanding.
