Tinting is a quick and effective way to make your eyebrows and eyelashes look perfectly groomed. It visibly lengthens, darkens and thickens the appearance of eyelashes without smudging, clotting or rubbing off.
Before undergoing the treatment you will need a patch test to determine if you have allergies to the products used. Although you may have previously had a patch test for these treatments, different brands contain different ingredients and these are subject to change by the manufacturers. These measures are put in place for your protection. Failure to agree to a patch test will result in the treatment being declined.
Eyelash perming is a quick way of maximising your natural eyelashes. Lashes are treated with a perm solution which is then followed by the neutralizer and sometimes depending on which system you use will have a nourishing oil as the last step to recondition and strengthen the lashes. Each stage of the treatment requires the product being left on for about ten to fifteen minutes.
Small, medium, or large silicone pads are used depending on the natural length of your lashes or on the lift or curl required. Once your lashes have been attached (by a special glue that does not harm the lashes) to the perm rod or silicone pad the perming solution is applied to the upturned lash, and it is then left to set for ten to fifteen minutes. A neutralizer is then applied which is also left on for ten to fifteen minutes. In certain systems there will be a nourishing oil as the last step. This nourishing oil also helps to break up the glue that was used to place the lashes on the silicone pad making removal easier. Once the silicone pad has been removed the eye lids and lashes are cleansed of any left over residue. The procedure takes about 30-45 minutes to perform. The results may last two to three months depending on the individual.
